J. Gordon Tice

Shortly after H.S. I started playing music with a few local bands. We played in lots of dive clubs paying dues by playing "Proud Mary" over and over! I got the opportunity to play with a Sacramento favorite, "Simultaneous Avalanche" with some very incredible musicians. That lasted for several years and loved the experience. I decided to start a career in law enforcement and went to work for California Department of Corrections. I retired as an officer in 2012 and relocated to Rocklin. I operate my own home recording studio still making music I have recorded seven albums, three of which has been distributed all over the world. I married an amazing woman (Betty Ruth) in 1977 and still going strong! We have six children and many grandchildren. Life is good!!

I really didn't take school as seriously as I should have and my diploma was a gift. But God has blessed me beyond measure. I have no regrets and have an amazing family.
